I’ve been to this trail twice, the first time was last year during what must have been the rainy season because this shit was flooded as a muhfuggah. We walked the paved loop and checked out the trail but couldn’t go further than a few yards before the water was above our ankles and we chose not to die by snake bite. The second time was last weekend, during a time when I hoped to be able to get a little further on the trail. We did, but not a heckuva lot. Even so, it’s a nice stop for walking or biking and I’d go again to try to catch it on a dry day. It’s a pretty walk alongside a nice body of water and through the greenery. A friend once said that hiking in Florida is basically walking next to trees. He ain’t lyin.
